ISCJ Weekend School Registration Terms & Conditions

All Parents/Guardians:

  1. ISCJ Membership fee of $450 is mandatory for registration and will be included in the payment online. If you have already paid the membership through a different plan, kindly provide proof of payment in order to register. This fee is NON-REFUNDABLE even if you withdraw from the school (only exception is if you are moving out of state).
  2. No tuition refunds will be made after the start of the school year. Parents of Kindergarten and first grade children must be physically present around the ISCJ premises when classes are in session. This will help ensure that parents are called in for assistance during any emergencies.
  3. Tuition and membership payments for previous years must be satisfied before we can register your child for the new school year.
  4. Please keep your profile updated with accurate contact information as Weekend School Administration will use that information to communicate for the school year.
  5. There will be a $75 late fee charged per child if not registered prior to the advertised registration deadline.
  6. If you need assistance with tuition fees, please contact our administration staff via admin@iscjwes.org. You may be asked to show evidence of need by sharing a tax statement of a prior year.

Parents/Guardians of Kindergarten Children:

Kindergarten Parents/Guardians shall provide a copy of the child's birth certificate. A child must be at least 5 years of age by December 31st of the current year to be admitted to the Weekend School Kindergarten class.

Parents/Guardians of Special Needs Children:

If your child has any special needs, please mention this while registering online. Our school is not equipped to handle special needs students, and so we highly encourage you to discuss any special needs situations with us before registering. Depending on the situation, some reasonable accommodation can take place, however there are no guarantees.

I give the ISCJ Weekend School permission to call or text my home and cell phone numbers for any notifications. I understand that any cancellation or modifications of this authorization must be in writing, and that this authorization shall remain valid until requested otherwise.

I understand that I am fully responsible for any accident or injury to my child/children during the Weekend School activities and I shall not hold ISCJ, its supporting organization, its officers, or any staff or volunteers liable for such. Also, in the case of an accident or serious illness, I give permission for emergency medical treatment that will include, but not be limited to, initial diagnostic X-rays and other such procedures as the treating physician may deem necessary.

Furthermore, it is my responsibility to instruct my child/children to observe proper Islamic behavior and obey the Weekend School's rules and regulations.

I consent to letting my child participate in any photograph taken for school use. I understand that class sessions may be recorded for archive or promotional purposes, and I give my consent for my child's participation to be included in the promotion of the school.

I consent to allow my child to have a Google Classroom account set up by Weekend School for school use.

I hereby give my permission for my child to participate in an online class on a platform preferred by the school when there is a need to do so (e.g., weather or other emergencies).

By checking the box on the previous page, I agree to all the above points, and I also confirm that I have read and understand the rules as defined in the Weekend School parent handbook that protects the interests of my child and the school. I understand that my child's personal and educational information shall be stored in a secure database and that access to this information will be limited to the school's staff, teachers or instructors, and the administration.
