Faith and learning, every weekend.
Most children spend the week in public school. On the weekend, we give them a calm, organized place to learn their faith. Our teachers make learning feel welcoming and fun.
Students leave knowing who they are, feeling that they belong, and able to act with good manners (adab) anywhere they go.
Structured lessons, assignments, and review.
Time and a quiet space to pray during class.
Students grow within a shared Muslim environment.
Adab, responsibility, and confidence matter here.
A learning path from foundations to leadership.

Teaching families for over 40 years.
Since 1983, ISCJ Weekend School has helped Muslim families in Central Jersey teach their children the Quran, Arabic, Islamic Studies, and good manners (adab).
Founded in 1983. Still growing today.
ISCJ Weekend School started in 1983 as a small Sunday class. Today we teach hundreds of students on both Saturday and Sunday — and our goal is the same as it was at the start.
Children feel welcome here, and teachers know each child by name. The school is run by the Islamic Society of Central Jersey (ISCJ).
What we believe.
Patience
Learning the Quran takes time. We move at a steady, careful pace.
Good manners (adab)
We teach respect and good manners in every class.
Family-centered
Parents are partners. We meet you, we listen, and we work together.
A real curriculum
Every grade has clear lessons, homework, and review.
Steady progress
We focus on real learning and good character, not show.
Every child belongs
Every child should feel welcome and safe here.
Run by your community, for your children.
Our classes are taught by trained, trusted members of the ISCJ community, many of them parents themselves. Come see what your child can learn with us.
What your child learns, grade by grade.
